At Square Enix’s E3 showcase, the company revealed a new series of Final Fantasy releases in the form of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series. This brings a localized version Final Fantasy III’s original 2D release outside Japan for the first time. It also means Steam will finally get Final Fantasy I and II. The announcement arrives soon after Square Enix updated Final Fantasy III and IV<\/a> on mobile to indicate that the 3D versions on mobile are “3D Remakes”.
