In November 2019 at XO19, Microsoft and Square Enix announced that multiple Final Fantasy games are coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC and console. Since then, the likes of Final Fantasy VII, IX, VIII Remastered, and XV have made their way to the service but news around Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster, Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age, and the Final Fantasy XIII games has been scarce. In a statement to TrueAchievements, Microsoft confirmed that it is still planning on bringing those games and more to Xbox Game Pass through “2021 and beyond”. It is likely that these will slowly be added to the service over the months since Xbox Game Pass gets The Yakuza Remastered Collection this month with Yakuza 6: The Song of Life in March as anticipated additions to the service.
